Insurance and Payments

General Payment Information for sessions with Susan Peach:
Susan’s standard full fees are $200 for the initial intake session and
$175 for subsequent 53-60 minute sessions (the typical session
length.) There are two basic payment options: cash pay (sliding scale)
or insurance.

For those that need or prefer cash pay, the sliding scale, based on
household annual income, can adjust the full fees to as low as $100
per session.

Payment methods accepted include Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.
Personal checks may be an option in some situations.

Counseling sessions are covered by most insurance policies, though
you may still have to pay for any portion that is a deductible, copay
or cost share. See the list of accepted insurance below.

Kaiser PPO
Medicare traditional part B
Medicare advantage, if Aetna or United
United Healthcare

It’s helpful if you call the number on your insurance card or consult
your policy to determine your coverage for outpatient mental
health, as it will give you an idea of what your portion of payment will
be.

If you have a policy not on this list, even as secondary coverage, you
will be better served by a provider that is contracted with them.
Fees vary for other services; expect that they are not covered by
insurance. For example, there is a separate fee for client requested
paperwork or letters done outside session time. These services are
only available for established clients. Also please note that there is a
$70 missed appointment fee for no shows and late cancellations,
whether you use cash pay or insurance.
